Rostrum’s Efforts to address COVID-19 challenges

As the world is facing unprecedented changes and challenges, Rostrum supports all affected individuals during this challenging time.

The Rostrum team has been closely monitoring the consistently developing situation surrounding the outbreak of COVID-19.  Further to Rostrum’s update in August 2019, Rostrum is pleased to announce its progress on its pre-production prototype slated for human observational studies in Q2 of this year.

Rostrum’s VQm Pulmonary Health Monitor™ is being developed to address those patients in need of critical life-saving mechanical ventilation, and to assist clinicians managing these patients to try and reduce times on ventilators and improve outcomes.

Rostrum is exploring collaboration with med-tech firms and working with Canadian Government programs in ramping up its development process to have the system available to support medical practitioners as soon as possible.

We understand the strain being put on Health Care providers, that this will continue for some time and are doing what we can to be able to support this effort.
